Santander Dublin Office Fit-out
CNP Santander Insurance appointed TODD Architects for the fit-out and interior planning of their new workspace. A progressive design concept was embraced. Intrinsically, the design also allows for future expansion with a purpose created sublet area.
The objective was to ensure that the office felt unified as one with a democratic design in mind. Meeting rooms have been located to the periphery of the plan with workstations positioned centrally promoting multidisciplinary interaction between teams. Informal breakout and meeting spaces are interspersed, for formal and informal interactions.
Suspended acoustic ceiling panels clad in oak veneer act as an acoustic absorber. These panels also provide a support system to mount other ceiling services such as the fire detectors, voice evacuation speakers and sprinkler heads. This allowed for a cleaner and more aesthetic finish.
Ergonomic furniture task chairs were provided with all workstations also offering the flexibility of electronic sit-stand. The canteen offers employees essential facilities and an open plan dining space. Completed in June 2018, the scheme has already received an overwhelmingly positive response and been shortlisted for three Fit Out awards.
